Al-Nomany witnesses the Activities of a PHD Discussion in the Department of Pediatrics on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at Sohag University Hospital

Prof. Hassan Al-Nomani, President of Sohag University, witnessed the activities of PHD discussion presented by Dr. Nihal Sami Abdo, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Pediatrics and the Pediatric Neurology Unit, under the title “A Comprehensive Study of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at Sohag University Hospital ,Comprehensive study of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in Sohag University Hospital

This was in the presence of prof. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, prof. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, prof. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of the faculty, and Dr. Ahmed Fathi Al-Nahhas, Executive Director of University Hospitals.

Al-Noamany stressed the university’s keenness to raise the scientific and research level and to encourage and support researchers in order to achieve progress in the field of scientific research to meet the needs of society in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

He appreciated the subject of the thesis and the method of presentation and study, explaining that the supervisory committee included Dr. Mustafa Mohamed Abu Sedira. Professor of Pediatrics, Dr. Abdel Rahim Abd Rabbo Sadiq, Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatrics, and Dr. Eman Mohamed Fahmy, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.

Dr. Magdy Amin Al-Qadi, Dean of the  faculty, stated that the judging and discussion committee included Dr. Tariq Omar, Professor of Pediatrics at Alexandria University (external resident), Dr. Ali Abu Al-Magd, Professor of Pediatrics at Sohag University (internal resident), and Dr. Abdel-Rahim Abd Rabbo Sadiq, Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatrics.
