A new international beginning for Sohag University: Leading Academic Partnerships with India, the Philippines, Korea, the UAE, and Indonesia

Sohag University continues to strengthen its international presence by signing a number of academic cooperation protocols and fruitful partnerships with prestigious educational institutions around the world.

Dr. Hassan Al-Nu’many, President of Sohag University, stated that, in line with the directives of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to enhance the internationalization of university education and deepen international academic partnerships, the university continues its international presence by signing a number of academic cooperation protocols and fruitful partnerships with prestigious educational institutions around the world. Alnomany emphasized the university’s pride in being a globally trusted academic partner, noting that these partnerships open up broad horizons for students and the staff members to learn, research, and engage in cultural and scientific exchange, and reflect the university’s ability to compete globally.

The most prominent steps taken by the university in this field were as follows: Signing a cooperation protocol with Woosong University – South Korea to exchange the staff and students, and to establish joint programs in artificial intelligence and aesthetic design management, with a study on establishing a branch of the Korean university within Sohag.

Signing a protocol with Adamson University in Philippines is to support the joint research projects and exchange experiences in chemistry and chemical engineering.
