prof. Hassan Al-Nomani, President of Sohag University, continues his inspection tours of the new educational constructions on the new campus, where he inspected the building of the Faculty of Dentistry to determine the actual implementation rates, accompanied by Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and prof. Khaled Omran, Vice Presidents of the University, Eng. Hussein Mohamedain, Director General of the Engineering Department at the university, and Eng. Adel Mahmoud, Director of Projects in the Department.
Prof. Hassan Al-Nomani said that the College of Dentistry will be a new distinguished addition to the faculties of the university, and equipped according to quality standards to qualify students in the fields of specialization in dentistry, contribute to the development of the level of medical service, and provide the required therapeutic specialties through the various departments of the college.
Prof. Abdel Nasser Yassin explained that the buildings are equipped with the latest modern architectural styles in terms of foundation and technological infrastructure, adding that the cost of the project is EGP 193 mn, which is scheduled to be completed on March 6, 2024.
Engineer Hussein Mohamedain pointed out that the building is built on an area of 6,000 m2, and consists of a basement, ground and 4 floors, and includes 3 amphitheaters with a capacity of 500 students each, in addition to 8 clinics, classrooms, multi-purpose halls, administrative rooms and services.
