Prof. Hassan Al-Nomani, President of Sohag University, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the first batch of the Faculty of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, in the presence of Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Al-Numeiri Allam Zenati, Dean of the Faculty, and a group of faculty members, university employees and students, in the International Conference Hall on the new campus.
During his speech, Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani expressed his happiness with his presence among the graduates of the college and the participation of 120 students from three different departments their joy at graduation, announcing the appointment of 9 students from the first batch of teaching assistants at the faculty, stressing that the College of Computing and Artificial Intelligence has become a key partner in all fields, which opens up labor markets for its graduates at all levels and in various fields.
Al-Nomani thanked Dr. Al-Numeiri Al-Zanati, the college administration and its human cadres, for their efforts and role in advancing the educational process, to qualify college students to be able to deal efficiently with computer technology and the information technology revolution.
Dr. Khaled Omran stressed that the university administration is keen to prepare a generation of strong and advanced youth cadres capable of advancing society, to upgrade the country and emphasize its great position among the countries of the world, calling on graduates to the need for research and knowledge to achieve excellence and success in their working lives and contribute to achieving sustainable development 2030.
In his speech, Dr. Al-Numeiri Allam congratulated the college and their parents, adding that the graduation day is the harvest day and its watershed in the life of every student, stressing that the college is one of the nascent colleges that are commensurate with the era of digitization and was able in a short period to keep pace with the rapid developments of information technology, in the fields of education, training and scientific research, wishing students more success and excellence to become supportive young people for their country and society.
