The Children’s University at Sohag University continues the activities of the study program for students of the sixth stage (E2) with lectures about arts, which were lectured by Dr. Amani Fathy, a lecturer at Faculty of Specific Education, in the faculty hall in the old headquarters of the university.
Prof. Hassan Al-Numani, Acting the President of the University, confirmed that the Egyptian state pays special attention to the Egyptian child with the aim of graduating him, as he possesses many skills and knowledge that enable him to deal with various developments in life, especially in light of technological progress and changing labor market requirements, which will certainly change dramatically in the coming years.
Therefore, the university is keen to discover and embrace distinguished children in order to develop their skills and instill the value of work and their artistic and creative sense, by expanding their perceptions and preparing them to keep pace with development in all fields, and giving them the opportunity to integrate within the university community.
Dr. Muhammad Heshmat, the Coordinator of the Children’s University, explained that a number of training programs and lectures are being developed through the Children’s University in various fields, adding that the art lectures included many axes, including the geometric perspective, how to draw geometric shapes at a certain distance of sight, and an illustration of the African mask and its importance, in addition to the implementation of a set of artistic activities and paintings using the tools designated for that.
