Sohag University won second place at the level of universities during its participation in the Egypt Can do it with its Students conference

Sohag University won the second place at the level of Egyptian universities, as the best participating university in the second summit student conference “Egypt Can do it with Its Students”, which was held at Assiut University to discuss students’ visions to develop solutions and suggestions for societal problems. This was stated by Prof. Mostafa Abdel-Khalek, the President of the University, and he said that the conference came to implement of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, pay attention to activate the national discussion with the Egyptian youth, with the aim of getting to know their views about the social problems and benefiting from their ideas and suggestions

Prof. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, praised the distinguished participation of the student delegation in the conference, and its distinction in the valuable and objective research that was presented, congratulating the students on their success in obtaining advanced positions and their representation of the name of the university in an honorable manner that befits its history, pointing out that the university won the second place at the level of Egyptian universities as the second best university participating in the activities of the conference, adding that the students participated in the conference with scientific research in a number of important axes that occupy public opinion at the present time, including divorce, common-law- marriage, drugs, violence against women, and the tolerance of religions and weak family ties.
