Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, stated that the opening of the electron microscope unit is a new achievement added to the university’s achievements in the field of science and scientific research, as the university owns the most modern electron microscope unit at the level of universities in southern Upper Egypt, at a cost of 30 million pounds.
This came during the inauguration by Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany of the electron microscope, which is considered the latest and most advanced, to be used in the field of scientific research at the university and outside it, in the old university campus, accompanied by Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Dr. Khaled Omran, vice presidents of the university, Dr. Hazem Al-Mushanab, dean of faculty of Science, and Dr. Islam Al-Sheikh, director of the unit and a number of the staff members.

With a huge amplification capacity, which ensures the quality of providing services to various research bodies and will also serve all scientific and practical specializations in all Egyptian universities, which leads to an increase in published scientific research, raising the ranking and the position of the university at the local and global levels, and the resulting increase in the university’s own resources.
