Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, received a delegation from the International Company ‘New Hope’ which is one of the Chinese agricultural companies in Egypt, to discuss the ways of enhancing the joint cooperation in the fields of training and scientific research, in the presence of Mr. Jin Ai Tsai, the company’s general manager, and Mr. Han, the company’s sales manager. , Ihab Shafei, assistant Sales Director of New Hope Company, and Dr. Zeinhom Sheikhoun, Vice Dean of faculty of Agriculture for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
Al-Noamany stressed that the university is constantly seeking to strengthen the joint cooperation with all countries in the scientific and research fields with the aim of serving the educational process at the university and enriching scientific research.
He valued the strategic relations between Egypt and China, explaining that despite the diversity of visits by the foreign delegations to Sohag University, this is the first visit in this specialty.
Al-Numany said that the meeting discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the university and the company by signing a cooperation protocol after taking all applicable procedures, in the field of preparing specialized cadres to teach and train students of the company’s faculty of Agriculture, which will reflect the great effort made in linking the theoretical aspect to the field reality, in addition to enhancing the students’ skills and making them more prepared to enter the labor market.
