Prof/Mostafa Abdel-Khaleq, President of Sohag University, participated in the activities of the annual national conference of the Scientific Society for Tax Legislation, entitled “Investment in Egypt between Reality and Hope”, for two days, in the presence of Prof/ Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, Prof/Rabeh Ratib, Head of the Association and Supervision of the faculty of Law in Sohag, heads of judicial bodies, leaders of state institutions, professors of economics in Egypt and the Arab world.
Prof/ Mustafa Abdel-Khaleq said that the conference came within the framework of the political leadership’s interest in investment and its encouragement, the conference included 5 main axes, the challenges and future of investment in Egypt, the role of financial policy in attracting investments, the gap between reality and Hope, as well as the efforts of the Egyptian state to reform the financial system despite Corona Virus, the conference also included workshops with the Federation of Industries.
Prof/ Rabeh Rateeb explained that the conference aims to stand on the hindrances which face investment in Egypt and how to deal with them and the factors that attract foreign investors, in addition to discussing the vital role of investment in advancing the economy and achieving growth, in addition to presenting visions about the future of investment in Egypt.
