Sohag University is launching the marathon of the first semester exams, and Al-Nomani declares

Providing all means of comfort for the students while taking exams, and announcing schedules, dates, and locations.

**Preparing and equipping the halls and all services to suit the conditions of students with disabilities to take exams easily

Dealing firmly with cases of fraud and not bringing mobile phones into committees

 

Al-Noamani also announced that the university has completed all its preparations for organizing the marathon of exams at the end of the first semester, according to the time map for the academic year 2023-2024, which was approved by the Supreme Council of Universities.

It will continue until Thursday, January 25, 2024, and the mid-year vacation will begin on Saturday, the 27th of the same month.

The university president added that a number of procedures and measures have been taken to hold exams inside exam halls and auditoriums amid strict precautionary and preventive measures, in order to preserve everyone’s health, and to ensure that the faculties private clinics are available and ready throughout the exam days to confront any medical emergencies, in addition to warning invigilators to deal firmly with cases of cheating in committees and stressing to students the importance of not bringing mobile phones into committees.

Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, said that 63,864 male and female students will take the exams, in 17 faculties and institutes, with a total number of 396 committees, divided into two periods, one in the morning and the other in the evening, in addition to the medical faculties (5 faculties), which will take their exams electronically at the Electronic Testing Center, and these exams are characterized by the student receiving the exam result immediately after completing the answers, and it also allows him to know the assumed model answer, indicating that the faculties have developed proposals for the exam timetables and they have been presented to the students and discussed, and suggestions have been received and the schedules prepared
