Sohag University hosted a number of the members of the House of Representatives, in the first meeting for the first time at the level of Egyptian universities, which was organized by the Students for Egypt family under the title “Dialogue between Students and the Parliament Representatives,” within the framework of strengthening the effective communication between the students and the representatives of the House of parliament who express the voice of Sohaji people.
During the meeting, Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany, President of the University, praised their important role in the fundamental issues that affect the lives of the citizens of Sohagi, supporting the governorate’s future plans and contributing to solving the citizens’ problems, emphasizing the importance of holding such meetings with the students to raise their awareness of many issues and topics in many fields, in addition to strengthening communication between the legislative authority and the university students, which contributes to enhancing integration between state institutions.
Al-Nomany pointed out that the meeting discussed a number of files and issues that are considered a national priority, including keeping the students aware about the mechanisms of parliamentary work, in a way that sharpens their professional skills and contributes to raising youth and student awareness of the reality of the legislative process and political life in Egypt.
