Sohag University donated an electric wheelchair to Bassant Abu Al-Wafa, a student at faculty of Arts, as part of the university administration’s keenness to provide all means of support and social care to its students with disabilities, and to overcome the obstacles facing them, to facilitate the educational process and avoid the hardship of going and returning to and from the university headquarters.
Prof. Hassan Al-Noaman, Sohag University president, confirmed that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, issued a number of decisions and took several measures that ensured the the rights of people with disabilities, and supported and encouraged them to participate in society, considering them an integral part of the nation.
