Ministry of Higher Education approves the start of studies at Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research at Sohag University.*

Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, issued Ministerial Resolution No. 490 on March 10, approving the start of studies at Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research at Sohag University, and approving the issuance of the internal regulations of the Faculty “Graduate Studies Phase” according to the system Credit hours.

In this regard, Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of the University, extended sincere thanks and appreciation to President Sisi for the support he provides for higher education, especially in the governorates of Upper Egypt, which in recent years have witnessed unprecedented interest in the level of its educational and research service, and similar thanks to Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education, Patron of Egyptian Universities, for his continuous follow-up and support for the establishment of this faculty.

, explaining that the faculty is the first at the level of Upper Egypt and will have a great impact, in studying and developing environmental research, to contribute to achieving sustainable development, through the outputs of environmental research and studies to serve the community, and that within a civilized vision that is compatible with the latest developments in rapid technical development.

Dr. Hassan Al-Numani also thanked the faculty’s  team work team, headed by Prof. Hamdy Hassanein, Dean of the faculty, who have made extraordinary efforts in terms of regulations, studying programs, construction and equipment for the faculty building and laboratories at the highest international standard level, adding that these equipment have been praised.

It has successive committees from the top of the universities, which visited the faculty from time to time to follow up these preparations, in preparation for the start of studies in the faculty.
