Prof. Hassan Al-Numani, the President of the University, witnessed the activities of the educational symposium delivered by journalist Refaat Fayyad about “BRICS”, in the presence of prof. Khaled Omran, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary-General of the University, and a number of deans of faculties and staff members and students, at the International Conference Center in the new campus.
At the beginning of his speech, the university president welcomed the thinker and journalist writer, Professor Refaat Fayyad, expressing his great happiness about the topic of the symposium, which comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to educate its students about the latest developments and issues that occur, as they are the Egyptian state’s hope for development and preservation of our beloved Egypt, explaining that Sohag University is one of the first Egyptian universities, which were keen to inform their students of the importance of joining the BRICS gathering, and the many economic benefits that the Egyptian state will avoid, praising the large attendance of students and their keenness to be present to benefit from the topic of the symposium.
