Hayat Karima Foundation honored Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, in the celebratory activities it organized on the occasion of the International Human Solidarity Day, which falls on December 20 of each year, in appreciation of his outstanding efforts in the community initiatives, and the great role played by the university administration in activating the goals of the “Hayat” presidential initiative “Hayat Karima,” which was launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in January 2019.
It aims to improve the lives of the Egyptian citizen, and achieve renaissance and progress in society in accordance with the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The ceremony was held at Cairo University, in the presence of the Ministers of Water Resources, Endowments, Parliamentary Councils, Social Solidarity, Dr. Ohoud Wafi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Decent Life Foundation, and a group of Governors, university presidents, and civil society leaders.
Al-Numany extended his thanks and appreciation to the management of the Decent Life Foundation for its generous invitation to attend the International Human Solidarity Day ceremony, appreciating the tangible role that the Foundation has played over the past five years in serving the community, and providing all aid and services to support the most needy families in villages and hamlets in various governorates
The Foundation has succeeded in making a radical change in the lives of millions of Egyptian families, through launching community initiatives and establishing development and social projects that aimed to improve living conditions and provide a decent life for the most needy communities, which was done in cooperation and coordination with success partners from all governmental and civil institutions.
Al-Nomany stressed that the university is continuing the journey of giving, and in its fruitful cooperation with the Decent Life Foundation, and all governmental and private agencies, and doing more service and community work in addition to its educational and academic role, to achieve sustainable development for society, and to support the state’s efforts in enhancing awareness of the importance of national and development projects which it implements to ensure a decent life for all members of society, and a better future for future generations.
