Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, during his surprise tour this afternoon, in the fourth day of Eid Al-Adha, to the emergency hospital at the new headquarters, stressed the university administration’s efforts to satisfy citizens and increase the efficiency of therapeutic and medical services provided to patients frequenting university hospitals, and that we should not stop developing our performance.
Al-Nomani said that the increase in demand for university hospitals confirms citizens’ confidence in the university hosiptals and in the services they provide at a high level of quality and efficiency. Therefore, we must bear the great burdens to serve citizens, calling for the necessity of all community institutions to support the university hospitals to perform its medical and service role, especially since it receives thousands of patients every month, from Sohag Governorate and all neighboring Upper Egypt governorates.
During his tour, Al-Numani was keen to meet patients and their families and listen to them to know their evaluation of the services provided by the hospital, the good reception of patients, and the presence of doctors and nursing staff.
He was also reassured about the health status of the patients, directing a set of additional measures to improve the medical service within the framework of continuous quality improvement.
During his tour, Al-Nomani praised the regularity of workflow, thanking the medical and nursing staff, workers, and all those responsible for providing health care at Sohag University Hospitals for carrying out their duty towards patients during Eid holiday.
