Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, witnessed the conclusion of the fifth Asmar Festival for the university’s mobile phones, which was organized by the scout and Public Service Department of the General Administration of Central Youth Welfare. The events were held in the University dormitories playgrounds for the female students at the old university headquarters, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Muhammad Kamal, Coordinator of Student Activities ,Dr. Ahmed Atef, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, Hamada Habarir, Director of the scout Administration, and a number of youth care specialists in various faculties.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany expressed his pride in the university’s distinguished and talented male and female students in all student activities, praising the performances he saw during the festival’s closing activities, which demonstrated the ingenuity and skill of the university’s scout team, stressing that such meetings and festivals aim to develop skills and the capabilities of male and female scout, raising their efficiency, and directing their energies towards serving the university community, in addition to enhancing the values of scout.
