Al-Nomany and Almufti participate with Diversely Capable Students in Planting Trees at the New Headquarters of Sohag University

Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany, President of Sohag University, and Dr. Shawqi Allam, Grand Mufti of Egypt, participated in the “Capable with a Diversity” students in planting 1,000 trees at the university’s new headquarters, in cooperation with the Hengelha Foundation, in the presence of the university’s vice presidents, the president of the Hengelha Foundation for Sustainable Development, and a number of popular and executive leaders and Al-Azhar and church men.

Al-Nomany expressed his happiness with the participation of Dr. Shawqi Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, in these activities, stressing the university’s keenness to encourage and encourage its children, “differently capable” students of people of determination, to integrate them into society and contribute to building it and preserving the environment and its natural resources, out of belief in their ability to withstand difficulties and succeed despite the challenges.

 He stressed the university’s keenness and continuation of implementing the state’s directions towards sustainable development and green transformation as a solution that contributes to confronting climate change.

The university president explained that the university’s participation in the “Hingmilha” initiative comes from the societal role that the university adopts, towards spreading the culture of environmental sustainability and increasing green spaces,stressing that the university is keen to participate in all community initiatives that serve the community and help preserve the environment.

Al-Nomany extended his sincere thanks to all those responsible for the “Hingmilha” initiative for their tireless efforts in working to provide a clean environment, spreading environmental awareness among citizens, reducing climate change, and activating the role of community participation to achieve sustainable development and Egypt Vision 2030.
