Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani, President of Sohag University, confirmed that the file of social protection
The university’s Social Solidarity Fund provides all aspects of support to differently able students by exempting them from tuition and dormitories expenses, in addition to providing a number of prosthetic devices, and facilitating all procedures for them.
Al-Numani stressed that the university administration pays great attention to all students from the differently abled group and overcomes all the difficulties they face, and empowers them with their rights.
Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, said that in implementation of the university’s strategy, which is based on caring for those who are capable of difference and achieving equal opportunities, Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani handed 3 students prosthetic devices, namely a wheelchair, 2 stethoscopes, a medical shoe, and a medical cane, at a high level of care, efficiency to enable them to integrate into the educational process, adding that the university provides them with many facilities, including audio-recorded courses, taking exams without facilities, integrating them with their peers, in addition to participating in all activities and events that take place inside and outside the university campus.
