Dr. Hassan Al-Nu’many, President of Sohag University, expressed his pride in the unprecedented achievements witnessed by the Egyptian state under the leadership of President Sisi in the fields of smart transportation, industry and infrastructure, which confirm that Egypt is moving steadily towards a smart future and deepening local manufacturing to achieve self-sufficiency, competitiveness and reducing imports from abroad.
This came during his participation in the sixth edition of the International Exhibition and Conference on Smart Transport, Logistics and Industry TransMEA2025, which is held under the patronage President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, under the slogan “Industry and Transport Together to Achieve Sustainable Development.”
It was inaugurated by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, accompanied by Lieutenant General Engineer Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport.
Al-Nu’many said that Sohag University, which is participating today in this major international event, which is a leading platform for showcasing the latest technologies in the fields of smart transportation and infrastructure, affirms its commitment to its national role in supporting the state’s directions towards smart transformation, through its scientific capabilities and research projects. And human resources to remain an active partner in building the new republic, with the minds of its youth and scientists.
