Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, attended the honouring ceremony of the new demonstrators, graduates of the 2023-2024 batch, at the International Conference Center at the university’s new headquarters, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Youssef, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs. Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, deans of faculties, university leaders, and a select group of staff members.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany delivered a speech in which he congratulated the new demonstrators, the top graduates from various faculties for the academic year 2024/2025. He expressed his pride and appreciation for the distinguished young cadres armed with knowledge and science, whom the university administration is pleased to have join the university’s academic structure. He emphasized that the political leadership pays great attention to Egyptian youth, especially university graduates.
Al-Nomany] explained that meeting with the top newly appointed graduates, numbering 211 in the academic structure across 16 faculties, and honoring and celebrating them is a well-deserved honor, as the university administration was keen to congratulate and appreciate the efforts of the new demonstrators, and to commend their success throughout their years of study and their attainment of the highest grades.
Rather, it encourages them to continue to give and excel, emphasizing that they are distinguished young role models to be emulated. This recognition will serve as an incentive for them and their colleagues to continue their journey of success and excellence in higher education, and to contribute to the university’s renaissance, progress, and positioning it on the global university map.
The university president directed his new teaching assistants to invest in the opportunities provided by the Egyptian state to young people, including the grants, training courses, and qualification programs it provides, which help them build their personalities, develop their abilities and experiences, and acquire new knowledge and skills in their fields of specialization.
