The events of the twelfth educational symposium about risks that threaten the Egyptian national security

Major General /Zaki, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, and Prof/ Mustafa Abdel-Khaleq, President of Sohag University, witnessed the events of the twelfth educational symposium to educate university youth about the risks that threaten the Egyptian national security, which was organized by the Popular and Military Defense Forces in cooperation with the Central Youth Care Department of the university. In the presence of Dr/ Hassan Al-Noamani, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr/ Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, dean Nabil Shehata, Military Adviser, Accountant/ Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary General of the University, elite commanders of the Popular and Military Defense Forces units, deans of faculties and faculty members , representatives of civil society of various sects, and many university students.

Major General/ Imad Ahmed Zaki expressed his pride in his affiliation with military institution led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. He explained that the People’s Defense Forces and the military are one of the pillars of the power of the armed forces, and have a long history of heroism that was written in blood to preserve the country’s lands and properties.

At the beginning of the symposium, prof/ Mustafa Abdel-Khaleq gave a welcoming word to the leaders of the Popular Defense Forces and the military for their presence at Sohag University, explaining that the organization of the symposium according to the political directives led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, paying attention to the governorates of Upper Egypt, especially university students, to create a conscious generation of young people to be aware of the history, present and future of the country, and they have a keen vision of the risks and threats facing the state.

Colonel/ Mohamed Afifi, Director of Military Education at the university, explained that the symposium included a lecture on artificial intelligence and its impact on national security, by Dr/ Ghada Mohamed Amer, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Benha University, in addition to a lecture entitled “Egypt’s Status “ which was attended by Major General Dr/ Osama El-Gamal, followed by a theatrical performance entitled “The fourth generation of the university’s representative team”, then the presentation of the song “We are able, then the operetta “Good Land” for the university choir team, as well as a documentary film called “The Second Crossing” prepared by the Department of Morale Affairs, followed by a video presentation of the honored martyrs in the symposium presented by the Information Systems Branch. Also, he explained that the symposium included honoring the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their blood for homeland. At the end of the symposium, Major General/ Imad Zaki and prof/ Mustafa Abdel-Khaleq exchanged the shields of the Armed Forces and the University
