President of Sohag University sends a congratulatory Telegram to the President of the Republic and leaders of the Ministry of Interior on the Occasion of the Celebration of the 73rd Police Day

Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, sent a congratulatory telegram to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the great Egyptian people, on the occasion of the 73rd Police Day, offering the highest expressions of greetings, appreciation and pride to the leaders, men and personnel of the valiant police, headed by Major General Mahmoud Tawfik, Minister of Interior, who embodied the values ​​of sacrifice and redemption to defend the homeland, and set the most wonderful examples in performing the national duty and preserving the security and stability of its lands.

At the beginning of his speech, Al-Nomany, on behalf of the University Council, staff members, employees and students, extended his sincere congratulations on the 73rd anniversary of Police Day, that great day that coincides with a precious memory in the annals of Egyptian patriotism, which is the glorious Battle of Ismailia, in which the heroes of the Egyptian police presented their lives as a price to defend the dignity and pride of their country.

Al-Nomany stressed that Egypt appreciates the sacrifices of the police in recent years to confront the danger of terrorism, extremism and destructive ideas that hinder the development process, and thanks them for creating the appropriate atmosphere for the continuation of the state’s efforts in implementing major national projects, completing the path of reform and construction to establish the pillars of the new republic, and achieving the hopes of Egyptians for a bright future that provides equal opportunities for a decent life for all citizens.
