Dr. Hassan El-Nomani, President of Sohag University, announced the approval of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to start postgraduate studies and issue the internal regulations for the credit hour system for the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, in accordance with the decision issued by the Ministry No. 17 of 2025, extending his thanks to the political leadership, and to Dr. Ayman Ashour for his continuous and permanent support to all sectors of the university, which contributes to improving the educational services provided to the people of Upper Egypt.
Dr. Al-Nimri Zenati, Dean of the faculty, explained that the decision includes starting studies at the postgraduate level according to the credit hour system at the faculty in specific academic degrees, including the Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence in the specializations (Computer Science, Information Technology, and Networks), as well as the Master’s degree and Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence in the same specializations.
