In the presence of President Sisi, President of the Republic, Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, participated with the Coptic brothers in the Christmas at the Cathedral church in the New Administrative Capital, which was headed by Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, in the presence of an elite group of senior statesmen, a number of ministers, ambassadors, public figures, members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and a group of bishops, priests, and members of the Church.
Al-Nomany praised President Sisi’s speech in which he stressed that Egypt will always remain a beacon of coexistence, unity and love among its people, which increases day after day and is the way to protect the homeland, pointing out that Egypt, with its people, is moving steadily towards building a promising future, which we have long looked forward to.
