Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany, President of Sohag University, praised the team of the Department of Ophthalmology, which was able to perform 25 surgical operations.
This was under the supervision of a brilliant group of ophthalmology professors in the Department of Ophthalmology and Surgery, thanking the medical team and nursing staff for their efforts in providing health and therapeutic care, and their contributions to alleviating the suffering of patients.
Al-Nomany said that the increase in demand for university hospitals confirms citizens’ confidence in them and in the service they provide to them.
Al-Nomany added that the Department of Ophthalmology at the University Hospital succeeded last November in ending the waiting lists registered and transferred to it, within the framework of the mandates of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to eliminate waiting lists in all governorates of the Republic.
