Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, announced against the Candidates of the Student Union are being examined today, stressing that the elections were run in a stable, calm atmosphere and adhering to the rules and instructions regulating the electoral process, while maintaining transparency and integrity to select the best elements that truly and expressively represent the students.
Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee supervising the elections, explained that today the appeals will be examined, and the final lists of candidates will be announced on Wednesday, November 20, with the electoral propaganda on Thursday, , adding that the first round elections will run on November 24, while the run-off will be on November 25, and the student election season will end with the election of committee secretaries and their assistants and the president of the Student Union on November 28, 2024.
