At the beginning of his speech, Al-Nomany stressed that the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Foundation, headed by His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, spares no effort in providing scientific and intellectual support to Sohag University, by intensifying programs, advocacy and awareness-raising activities in order to achieve the role of Al-Azhar and its mission, we welcome the university’s guests from the scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the beacon of the Islamic religion throughout the world and the destination of seekers of knowledge for 20 decades.
Al-Nomany thanked Dr. Abbas Shoman as one of the most prominent religious figures who influenced Egypt intellectually and culturally, explaining that the “Religion and Urbanism” program will be implemented over a period of 4 days, within the framework of the initiative of Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, “Bedaya”
contributing to the preparation of an intellectual map.
It deals with the human structure in all its aspects ,intellectual, ideological and social, and consolidating the system of values, morals, and high ideals in society, with the participation of a group of Al-Azhar scholars.
