Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, announced that a cardiac and arterial catheterization device is being inaugurated and installed to serve heart patients who visit the old university hospital, to replace the old devices that has been operating for 20 years, which helps in receiving more cases and providing them with appropriate health and therapeutic care.
In this context, Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany followed the process of inaugurating the new device, within the framework of the process of replacing and renewing the devices in the unit, accompanied by Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of the faculty, Dr. Alaa Ghaleb, Head of the Catheterization Unit, Dr. Yasser Kamal, Professor of Cardiology, Major General Tariq Hafez, Director of University Security, Dr. Yasser Abdel Fattah, Assistant Secretary of the University, at the old hospital headquarters.
Al-Noamany said that the device costs 17 million pounds, and will serve heart patients visiting the unit in the old hospital.
It will also help provide treatment services to patients in addition to the device in the new hospital, which will contribute to implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to eliminate waiting lists and to alleviate the suffering of patients.
