Sohag University President participates in the Fulbright Commission’s Conference and Celebration of the Seventy-Fifth anniversary of its Founding in Egypt

Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, participated in the “From the Laboratory to the Market” conference.

It was held under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation with the Fulbright Commission in Egypt as part of its celebration of the seventy-fifth anniversary of its founding in Egypt, in the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, and Ambassador Mustafa Garg, US Ambassador to Egypt, Sean Jones, Director of the US Agency for International Development Mission in Egypt, and Dr. Maggie Nassif, Executive Director of the Fulbright Commission Egypt, in addition to a group of ministries and business leaders, in one of the major hotels in Cairo. Al-Nomany praised the support provided by the Fulbright Commission to youth and researchers at universities through its distinguished programs, starting with studying, conducting research, and gaining experience.

In the context of supporting youth, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship, and actively contributing to economic development in society, he also praised the success achieved by Sohag University in the field of scientific research, and the ranking of 18 of its researchers among the best 2% of scientists in the world according to Stanford University.
