Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, stated that the current attitude of the state supports the creation of new specializations and study programs in the Egyptian universities, to meet the needs of the local, regional and international labor market, stressing that the university is keen to expand in developing its educational programs that contribute to preparing graduates with competence and scientific experience qualified to work in various fields.
Dr. Muhammad Tawfiq, Dean of faculty of Arts, said that the faculty is enjoying the activation of a large number of new academic programs in its various departments, which are carefully selected according to the requirements of the labor market and society, and to keep pace with the latest systems, educational methods and advanced technology, explaining that the faculty includes 10 academic programs in various departments.
It is taught by a professional group of professors in all specializations, and the number of students enrolled in these programs is more than 4,383 male and female students at the four levels.
