Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, stated that Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has announced an extension of the Application Period for the Pioneers and Scholars of Egypt Program until September 7th to join the second batch of the Egyptian Pioneers and Scholars Program, presented by the United States Agency for International Development, and implemented by the American University in Cairo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, until September 7, in order to provide the opportunity for those wishing to join the program.
Al-Nomany explained that the “Egypt Pioneers and Scholars” program is based on developing the skills of cadres working in the governmental and non-governmental sectors, with the aim of raising the efficiency of the performance of various sectors, and its reflection on Egypt’s sustainable development goals, noting that the importance of this program is due to the fact that it is presented to more than one sector, and the program plan is being developed every year to meet the country’s development requirements, needs, and challenges it faces.
Moreover Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, participated as a representative of the university in the workshop “Achievements and Launching of the Second Phase of the Egyptian Pioneers and Scientists Program,” presented by the United States Agency for Development, and implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the American University in Cairo, under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
