The Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs praises the Historical Epic and the Unprecedented Participation of Sohag University Members during the Presidential Elections

Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi, Minister of Parliamentary, Legal and Political Affairs, received Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, in his office, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

Al-Noamani congratulated Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi on appointing him as a Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs, and his selection to assume the portfolio of the Ministry of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs, stressing that he has great legal experience and has held many important positions that had a significant impact on the legislative and legal structure in the country, wishing him more success in achieving tangible and effective achievements for the benefit of the nation and to serve its citizens.

The university president stressed that this ministerial portfolio is an important link between the House of Representatives and the Senate, parties and political forces, and aims to achieve institutional communication and continuous interaction between political entities and party and union bodies, in a way that achieves the highest interest of the state and the citizen.

Al-Nomani said that Dr. Mahmoud Fawzi praised the honorable and civilized appearance, the historical epic, and the unprecedented broad participation of Sohag University members, including students, employees, and staff members, during casting their votes in the presidential elections, which gave clear evidence of the university’s youth’s awareness of the importance of contributing to this constitutional entitlement and their belief with loyalty and belonging to the homeland, their ability to build the new republic, and their awareness of the challenges facing the Egyptian state.
