Dr. Hassan Al-Numany, president of Sohag university, received Dr. Jamal Taj Abdul-Jaber, president of the New Assiut Technological University, and Dr. Abdel Nasser Mohamed Omran, dean of Higher Institute in Luxor during their visit to the university to participate in the discussion of a doctoral thesis at Faculty of technology and education, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Salem, vice dean of Faculty of technology and education for graduate studies and Research Affairs, and Dr. Abdo Kamal, professor at Faculty of science at the University.
Al-Numani welcomed the president of the New Assiut Technological University and the guests of the University, stressing the University’s keenness and interest in scientific research and encouraging its researchers to innovate and creativity, praising the faculty at the University, which is one of the promising faculties for its many successes in serving the University and the community, and its role in preparing applied research, the results of which are used to provide many services to the community.
Dr. Mahmoud Salem, vice dean of the faculty for graduate studies and Research, said that the doctoral thesis was submitted by Dr. Ahmed al-Sayed Salameh, assistant lecturer at the Department of mechanics at faculty of technology and education, under the title “mechanical behavior of nano-reinforced composite fiberglass chips”, under the supervision of Dr. Jamal Taj Abdul Jaber, president of the New Assiut Technological University, Dr. Mahmoud Salem Ahmed, professor at the Department of mechanics at Sohag University, and Dr. Mohammed Yahya Abdallah, professor of Mechanical Engineering at South Valley University .
