A village for Medical Tourism in Siwa Oasis and a Smart Tourist Village are the Most Prominent Graduating Projects at Faculty of Engineering

Dr. Hassan al-Numany, president of Sohag University, witnessed the discussion of the graduation projects of undergraduate students at faculty of Engineering, in the presence of Dr. Abdul Nasser yes vice president for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Qasim, dean of the faculty, Dr. Talaat Ali and Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud, vice deans of the faculty, Major General Tarek Hafez, director general of the university security department, Dr. Ahmed Atef, Secretary of the faculty and a number of staff members and their assistants, and  faculty students, at the faculty’s headquarters in the new campus.

Al-Numany said that the university is keen to graduate engineering and technical cadres according to the need of the labor market, through encouraging innovation and working to increase production capacity, as the innovative projects implemented by students came as an application of the theoretical and practical study acquired by students over the years of study.

The president of the University praised the creative ideas that he saw, which were implemented by the students with all accuracy and skill, which reflects the extent of the talent of the graduates of Faculty of Engineering, which contributes to the graduation of thousands of engineers armed with the science and experience necessary to build the New Republic.

Dr. Ahmed Qasem explained that the students of the architecture department submitted integrated engineering designs for a village for medical tourism in Siwa Oasis and another project to design a smart tourist village, and graduation projects were also discussed for students of the civil engineering department in its various specialties such as concrete structures, roads, sewage and water.
