Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani, President of Sohag University, met with the Board of Directors of the Center of Handicrafts and Environmental Industries, to discuss the work plan and activities of the Center during the coming period, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice Presidents of the University, Dr. Fahim Fathi Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology, Dr. Lamia Abu Zaid, Dean of faculty of Specific Education, Dr. Heba Al-Attar, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Vice Dean of the faculty for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Director of the Implementation Unit for Economic Blocs at the General Office of Sohag Governorate.
Al-Nomani stressed that within the framework of implementing the state strategy that aims to support fine crafts and handmade arts, and develop the sensory and artistic abilities of young people to discover their talents, the university seeks to implement a number of training courses to support and nurture traditional crafts as an important and main part of the material component of the cultural identity of the Egyptian personality.
He added that during the meeting, the special training plan that will be implemented at the center during the coming period was presented
