Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, thanked prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, for allocating an area of 1,000 acres to the university, north of the city of Kharga, at kilometer 55 in New Valley Governorate, for the purposes of scientific research and conducting agricultural and technological experiments.
Al-Nomani said that Dr. Ayman Ashour laid the foundation stone today for the Egyptian University Land Project, which is the first of the presidential initiative “Alliance and Development.”
This is in implementation of the directives of President Sisi and to complement the support and development of the Upper Egypt region, in the presence of Major General Mohamed Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, Dr. Abdulaziz Tantawi, President of the New Valley University, Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, and the presidents of Egyptian universities.
