Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, confirmed the regularity of the educational process in the university’s faculties from the first day of the second semester of the current academic year 2023/2024, after completing all the necessary preparations and equipment for the start of the second semester, according to the time map announced by the Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The study will continue for 16 weeks, ending on Thursday, May 30, 2024, and the second semester exams will be held during the month of June 2024, according to the nature of the study and exams in each faculty.
Al-Numani said that within the framework of the university’s strategy aimed at providing an academic environment that helps students to be distinguished, all maintenance work for buildings, auditoriums, study halls and laboratories has been completed, the structural efficiency of university facilities has been reviewed, and the readiness of university cities to receive expatriate students from different governorates has been completed, in addition to completing all arrangements for the study and the educational process system, preparing and announcing study schedules, distributing lectures, and publishing electronic courses, in addition to providing all the quality elements required by the study.
