Sohag University President Appreciates President Sisi’s Decisions to Increase the Minimum Wages to Ease the Living Burdens on citizens

Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, appreciated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to increase the minimum wagSe to reach 6,000 pounds, in addition to increasing the wages of state workers and economic bodies from 1,000 to 1,200 pounds according to job grade, as well as increasing pensions by 15%, as well as increasing the minimum tax exemption from 45 thousand pounds to 60 thousand pounds.

Al-Noamani stressed that the political leadership is making strenuous efforts to urgently reduce the burden of living on citizens, and contain the largest possible amount of the repercussions of external economic crises and turmoil and their internal effects, adding that His Excellency’s decisions came at the right time to confront the challenges and global economic conditions that cast a shadow on the situation in Egypt.

It comes within a package of urgent social measures being taken to support the Egyptians citizens.
