Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, stated that the Continuing Nursing Training Center at Faculty of Nursing concluded its training courses in the health and nursing field for the academic year 2022/2023, and 635 trainees from the nursing staff in various health centers at the governorate level participated in it, in addition to staff members and their assistants at the Faculty of Nursing. .
Al-Nomani praised the center’s distinguished educational and training services provided to the university and external community, and its important role in developing and developing the skills and capabilities of all employees in the nursing field, in line with the university’s mission and the faculty’s vision as an educational body in the field of nursing education and training, directing the necessity of developing new training programs that are compatible with the needs of trainees and the requirements of the labor market, and keep pace with everything new and modern in the health and nursing field.
Dr. Ghena Abdel Nasser, Dean of the faculty, said that the Center is keen to raise the level of quality of nursing service providers, and to provide continuing education for all categories of human resources within the faculty and for all workers in this field, as the Center is a source of self-development for the faculty through its provision of professional and scientific training and consultation services and the process is for all trainees, adding that the center provides training and educational programs based on the needs of the labor market and the beneficiaries of the center’s services, which contributes to supporting communication channels with various community bodies and institutions, and enhancing effective participation with the local community to improve the educational process, in line with modern technological developments in the field of nursing.
