Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, chaired the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Central Research Center at the Faculty of Medicine, in the presence of board of directors Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Mona Fattouh Mohamed Shalabi, Head of the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology and Director of the Center, and Dr. Asmaa Mohamed Gouda, Professor of Microbiology. Medical and immunology, Dr. Noha Saber Shafiq, teacher of medical microbiology and immunology, and Dr. Shaima Ali Thabet Abu Kreisha, medical analysis specialist at the center.
Al-Nomani stressed that the university administration seeks to achieve leadership in the field of scientific research by providing high-quality medical research projects, as the research center aims to motivate researchers to innovate and to be creative in the field of scientific research to achieve global leadership in all areas of health care.

Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi explained that during the meeting, the internal, organizational and financial regulations for the services provided by the center were discussed, as a unit of a special nature, indicating that the central research center supports the university’s research activity and encourages researchers to publish scientific research in internationally indexed scientific journals, which contributes to raising the level of Scientific research and improving the university’s global ranking by conducting advanced, highly accurate scientific research.
