Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, announced that the granting of ISO 9001:2015 certificates by the Faculties of Science and Medicine from the National Accreditation Council (IGAC) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) has been renewed, as well as the ISO 21001:2018 certificate from the National Accreditation Council (IGAC), in the presence of both Dr. Hazem Al-Mushanab, Dean of the Faculty. Sciences, Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of the faculty of Medicine, Dr. Jamal Sorour, Executive Director of the ISO Project and Director of the Department of Evaluation and University Performance Development, and deputies and heads of departments and staff members
On this occasion, Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani congratulated the faculties of Science and Medicine on this distinguished achievement, explaining that this came based on the recommendation of the donor company to agree to renew the trust and grant the ISO certificate to the faculties, which proves that they meet the standards of excellence for their administrative system and that all their targeted departments conform to the systems and requirements specified for this matter.
He added that this contributes to increasing competitiveness to raise the level of the university’s classification.
The University President stressed that these grants come as a culmination of the great efforts of the university’s leadership and the management of highly qualified faculties, in addition to enhancing the culture of institutional excellence and governance at the level of all sectors of the university.
Dr Sorour pointed out that the work team included Engineer Amr Ahmed Othman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the granting company, and the team of reviewers,. Engineer Muhammad Ahmed Othman, Director of Granting Accreditation Certificates, and Dr. Manal Darwish and Engineer Ahmed Kamal, and from the Arab Company for Consultations and Systems, which is the company qualified to be the company’s consultant.
