Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, held a meeting, in preparation for renewing grants to ISO
21001:2018/9001:2015 for the second year in a row, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary-General of the University, and the deans of the Faculties of Medicine, Science, Commerce, Arts, Agriculture, Nursing and Pharmacy, and Dr. Jamal Sorour, Director of Development and Evaluation Department, and Dr. Muhammad Amin, consultant of the Arab Company for Engineering Consulting and Systems, and directors of the quality assurance units in these faculties.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani said that the university administration seeks to have all its faculties obtain the ISO certificate, in order to maintain its position and position in the race for quality and academic accreditation, adding that the university is working according to a future plan and vision that keeps pace with the state’s requirements in the continuous development of the educational and research process and reaching quality standards. This in addition to providing a suitable work environment for university employees and service recipients, stressing that the human element is the base for the success of any administrative system.
Al-Nomani confirmed that the university is the first among Egyptian universities to implement ISO 21001 for the management of educational institutions based on the administrative structure and 7 faculties , stressing that this achievement comes as a result of the university’s keenness to apply standard quality standards and requirements in accordance with international specifications.
