Sohag University congratulates President Sisi on obtaining the “golden level” to become the first country in the world free of virus C.
Prof. Hassan Al-Noaman, Sohag University president , congratulates President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, after the World Health Organization’s announcement that Egypt has obtained the “golden level” on the elimination of hepatitis C, which means that Egypt met the requirements of reducing infections and deaths to the least level that qualify it to eliminate the disease.
Al-Noman explained that since President Alsisi launched the national campaign to eliminate Hepatitis C, the university administration has developed a plan to contribute to eliminating this disease, as it signed a number of protocols with the Long Live Egypt Fund and the United Bank to launch a Hepatitis C treatment campaign dedicated to the university students, during which a comprehensive survey of Hepatitis C was conducted for all Sohag University students in their various faculties
