Prof Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, praised the repeated visits President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to the governorates of Upper Egypt, to open many new development projects.
The University has also witnessed achievements in various educational and health sectors, in addition to unlimited support for the implementation of new educational, research and medical construction projects of the highest levels of quality.
university president explained that, under the guidance and support of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the university witnesses an unprecedented development in achievements in various sectors, as a number of major construction projects are being implemented at the new university headquarters at a total cost of 3 billion pounds, and as for the health sector, the preparation and operation of a group of hospitals is being completed and Specialized hospitals, such as the emergency hospital and heart, chest, brain, and nerve surgeries within the university hospital, which were built on an area of 1,400 square meters with a capacity of 200 beds, at a cost of 350 million pounds, as well as
completion of equipping and operating Shifa Children’s Hospital, which has an area of 5.6 acres to accommodate 263 beds, at a cost of 712 million pounds, which is a strong addition to the health system in the governorate, in addition to starting the construction of a specialized hospital for burns next to the new university hospital, to benefit from infrastructure services.
