Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani,the President of the University, witnessed the activities of the educational symposium delivered by journalist Refaat Fayyad about“BRICS”, in the presence of Prof. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary-General of the University, and a number of faculties’ deans and staff members at the International Conference Center on the new campus.
At the beginning of his speech, the President of the University welcomed the thinker and journalist, Mr Refaat Fayyad, expressing his great happiness with the topic of the symposium, which comes within the framework of the University’s keenness to raise awareness and educate its students about the latest developments and issues that occur, as they are the hope of the Egyptian state in developing and preserving our country, explaining that Sohag University is the first Egyptian university to inform its students of the importance of joining BRICS, and the economic benefits that the Egyptian state will gain, praising the large attendance of students and their keenness to present to benefit from the topic of the symposium.
