The Committee of selecting the Dean of Faculty of Agriculture at Sohag University is conducting Personal interviews with candidates for the Deanship.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nu’many, President of Sohag University, chaired the work of the committee formed to select the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, within the framework of the procedures regulating the selection of university leaders.
Al-Nu’many affirmed that the selection of academic leaders is carried out according to precise criteria based on competence, experience, and the ability to develop academic and administrative performance, in a way that contributes to supporting the university’s progress and achieving its educational and research goals.
The committee included in its membership Dr. Lotfi Hamed Abu Dahab Mahmoud, Professor at Faculty of Medicine and former Vice President of the University. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Suleiman, Professor at Faculty of Science and former Vice President of the University, and Dr. Mustafa Mohamed Ragab, Professor at Faculty of Education and former Dean of the Faculty, in addition to the membership of Dr. Hatem Abdel Qader at South Valley University, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Mohsen at Suez Canal University representing the Supreme Council of Universities, and also Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hafeez, Professor at Faculty of Agriculture and former Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Maher Hassan Hosni, Professor representing the Faculty.
Al-Nu’manY added that the committee has begun its work to review the applications and ensure compliance with the established requirements. Six professors have applied for the position of Dean of Faculty of Arts: Dr. Abdel-Aleem Saad Suleiman, Dr. Zeinhom Sheikhou Hassan, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Karim Ahmed, Dr. Hani Ahmed Fouad, Dr. Mahmoud Riad Gad El-Karim, and Dr. Hazem Abdel-Rahman Obaidallah.
