Dr. Hassan Al-Nu’many, President of Sohag University, honored Abdul Hamid Muhammad Abdul Hamid, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, and the directors of the accounting units at the university and university hospitals, and the accounting agents, in appreciation of their efforts in completing the financial and accounting work at the university, in the presence of Accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary-General of the University, in the University Council Hall at the old campus.
Al-Nu’many praised the efforts and work of those honored in preserving public funds through activating internal control, working within the team system, and full cooperation with the university, as they are the financial shield protecting the university.
The university president noted that this recognition comes within the framework of encouraging the university’s business partners to exert more effort and create a suitable and motivating work environment for everyone to ensure successful management that plans diligently for the future.
Ashraf Al-Qadi stressed the importance of joint coordination between the university and the Ministry of Finance in various steps, unifying financial visions, rationalizing spending, and making good use of available resources, which leads to raising the efficiency of work in the units.
