Mostafa Abdel-Khaleq, the president of the University, announced that the Egyptian Journal of Orthopedic Research, which is issued through the university’s Scientific Publishing Center, had received the highest rating in the Supreme Council of Universities’ classification of Egyptian and local journals, praising this outstanding performance in scientific publishing, which contributes to raising the university’s classification locally and internationally
Hassan Al-Noamani, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, said that the Journal of Orthopedic Surgery received the highest evaluation of 7 points, as it is issued by international and local arbitration, which includes a group of orthopedic experts from various Egyptian and foreign universities, praising this honorable classification, and stressing the importance of publication.
He also assured that the university administration is keen on developing research and assisting researchers in publishing their research internally and externally
From his part, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sheikh, Head of the Orthopedic Department, explained that the Scientific Journal of Orthopedic Surgery is issued every 6 months, and 4 issues have been published, each of which includes 10 scientific researches discussing all that is new in the field of orthopedics, fractures and spine.
