Dr. Hassan El-Nomany , President of Sohag University, chaired the University dormitories Council meeting, where the topics on the agenda were discussed, including the mechanisms for housing new students, in accordance with the regulations and rules approved by the Education and Student Affairs Sector.
In the presence of Accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Dr. Yasser Abdel Fattah, Assistant Secretary-General of the University, Engineer Hamed Al-Kholi, Director-General of University dormtories, and members of the Board of Directors, the event was held in Building C at the old university headquarters.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany explained that the meeting discussed the most important conditions for accepting new students into university campuses. It was decided to set the admission age for new male and female students for the 2025/2026 academic year to be those born on or before September 1, 2007. He confirmed that the names of students accepted into university campuses will be announced through an electronic platform.
The university president noted that social cases have been considered for housing, as part of the university’s commitment to supporting its students and assisting those most in need, achieving justice and providing them with the opportunity to reside in a suitable environment that will help them continue their studies and settle into university.
